Bio:
 Dr. Allen attended the High School for Health Professions where she was introduced to various fields of health careers. It was there she found her passion for dentistry and enrolled in a dental assistance program while in the eleventh grade and began working as an assistant. After graduation, she enrolled at the University of Houston where she majored in biology and completed a four year program, then transferred to the University of Texas Health Science Center where she earned her degree in dental hygiene. After working in this field she developed an absolute love for the profession, so she decided to pursue her dream of becoming a dentist. Dr. Allen graduated in May 1995 from Howard University College of Dentistry and began her practice with a group of dentists. During her tenure there, she taught dental assistants at the Astrodome Dental Career Center.
Ultimately, her subsequent years of experience afforded her the opportunity to open her own private pratice - "Amazing Smiles, PLLC."

Her advanced studies include non-extraction orthodontics, Dawson philosophy in cosmetic dentistry, and a preceptorship on implants.
She volunteered with a youth summer program for several years, performed basic dental treatment, educated and introduced dentistry as a career.

She is a part-time instructor for dental assistants and serves on the Board of Directors for Astrodome Dental Career Center (ADCC). She is also a member of Texas Dental Association (TDA) and Charles A. George Dental Society. When she is not working, she enjoys reading, shopping, traveling, eating and spending time with her daughter, Myah Elizabeth.
